Quick Crawl

Noah inherited his crawl from me. Apparently, I crawled with one leg out, and this is the crawl Noah resorts to when he wants to get somewhere fast. It is very amusing to watch him do this, he looks like some sort of spider or something! Enjoy the video!

Love Is Golden

I have to send a shout out to my friend Marcy and brag on her blog - www.love-is-golden.blogspot.com. Most of the people I know in the blog world have children and it's a great way to stay updated with pictures and stories, I love it. Marcy and Brian have not jumped on the baby train (yet ;)), but they do have lots going on at home. They foster Golden Retrievers and always have fun stories to share. The Weekend

I got to enjoy a great dinner with some friends on Friday night at Gloria's. It was good to talk and catch up. Saturday morning we bundled up and watched my brother cross the finish line at the Cowtown. He beat his time by 30 minutes from last year, I am so pround of him!

Birthdays

Last weekend we got together at my parent's house to celebrate mine and my mom's birthdays. It was great to spend time with family and relax. Noah got lots of attention from his Cici and Papi. Grandparents are wonderful! They take over diaper changes, bottle washing, feedings, and early mornings, giving us a nice little break.

I am surrounded by super creative and crafty people!! I love seeing what they do and getting ideas from them. When Noah was born, Niki, my sister, my mom and Janet helped me make some cute letter for his room. I love them and haven't done any since. For my mom's birthday, she wanted something to hang over her washer and dryer in her laundry room. Kelly had the idea of decorating some letters again. After figuring out what we wanted to spell (thanks Brittany :)), we decorated the letters. We used paint, cute ribbons, and buttons. It was fun and turned out pretty cute. Mom loved it, too!

Double Celebration

This weekend we got to celebrate Noah turning 9 months and Valentine's Day! Yes, maybe Valentine's Day is a little overrated, but I love pink and red and hearts and basically, it's just FUN!! But, turning 9 months is not overrated. Noah is turning into such a big boy. He's got his bottom two teeth, he loves to wave "hi" and he is finally crawling. He has also discovered that he can sit up in his crib when we put him down to take a nap or go to bed. This has resulted in late bedtimes and very short naps. He will sit in his crib for hours (literally) and cry or talk to himself, even when he is so exhausted and tired. I think we are both hoping this too is just a phase that will pass. Maybe the novelty of being able to sit up in his crib will wear off. Here are a few pictures from the last week.
