catching up

We have been in the process of changing our office into a playroom/guest room. So, I have not been good about uploading pics to the computer because everything was a mess in there. Here are a few pictures of what we have been up to so far this summer.

Last Friday night Niki and I had to run into Tom Thumb to pick up some milk and other items. We saw this fun looking grocery cart that was a car the boys could ride in (this is the first time I have really seen one of these). They both enjoyed it, but as you can tell by the pictures, Noah REALLY enjoyed it. He was having so much fun that I think he actually started to scare Hudson. He was laughing and squealing and bopping up and down and stomping his feet (which were landing on Hudson's poor little feet). All Hudson wanted to do was enjoy the ride, but Noah just couldn't contain himself. We definitely know which one of them will be able to "play it cool" when they get older!

Fun in the Sun (sort of)

Last week, Noah stayed with my parents in Whitney. We joined up with them over the weekend. Although it rained throughout the weekend, we had a great time.

I finally got around to getting some pictures up of Noah's first birthday party a couple of weeks ago. Thank you to our family and friends that came over to help us celebrate Noah's first sweet year of life. He had a blast and we can't wait to see what this next year is all about!

Happy Birthday, Noah!

Noah turned 1 year today! Levi took off from work and we spent the day together. We had a day full of firsts and really enjoyed celebrating our sweet boy. He is a blessing and we are so thankful.

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's day to all the current moms and future moms. I have to share one of the sweetest things that I saw today. Levi and I were leaving church this morning and we were driving by a grocery store. There was this little boy, probably around 10 years old, that was leaving the grocery store on his bike. He was steering with only one hand because his other arm was full of what looked like a dozen red roses! He rode his bike all the way up to the grocery store by himself and bought his mom flowers. It was too cute! That's my version of the story. Levi's version is that his dad forgot about Mother's Day and yelled at him to go to the grocery store really quick and pick up some flowers ;)
