Pumpkin Patch

Here are some pictures from when we went to the pumpkin patch a couple of weeks ago. It was very crowded, but we had a good time. We did not go last year, so this was a new experience for us.

Pirate Boots

I was trying on Noah's pirate boots the other day to see if they would work with his costume and if they fit. He has never had boots on and did not want to take them off. We were about to get in the bath and that is why the rest of his clothes are not on. He wanted to go outside and play in his boots, so I let him. I was just hoping the neighbors didn't look over the fence and wonder what in the world I had him dressed in!

Zoo

Last week I had Monday off and we went out the zoo with Katie, Brooks and Briggs. It was a drizzly day out, but we missed most of the rain and enjoyed a couple of hours that morning in cooler weather. Noah and Brooks had a blast, and Briggs was great. I think the monkeys and the lion were the biggest hit. The lion is usually always asleep when we are out there, but he was actually up and awake and "roaring." The boys were amazed, and you can see in the pic that Brooks thought it was quite loud! The lion is Noah's favorite animal right now, so this made his day.

When the fridge is open, Noah will either try and get something out to eat or just take a seat. He gets this from someone in our family. Can anyone guess who???

I'm sure this is fairly common. I can just vividly remember this person doing it, and it always makes me laugh when Noah does it.

Noah had jersey day at school, and loved wearing his Guatemala soccer jersey!





We rejoiced in the fact that Brooks and Noah can now entertain each other at restaurants and we actually had a decent, non rushed dinner :)






We celebrated Niki's 30th birthday at Simply Fondu a week before Riley was born.

Noah is still loving his little school. He is learning a lot, and wants to show us all the time. I tried to teach him some sign when he was younger just because I know some from work and because much of the research shows this will enhance language acquisition, but he really didn't show interest in it. Of course they teach it to him at school and he picks it up very quickly. I always wondered why speech therapists took their kids to other speech therapists if they needed speech, now I know why. Kids definitely do things for other people that they won't do for you! ;)

Dad turned 60!!

This past weekend we celebrated my Dad's 60th birthday! It was a great time with all of our family together for the first time in a while. Lots of relaxing, golfing (the guys), shopping, swimming and of course, eating. My mom loves to get up with Noah in the mornings, so Levi and I got to catch up on some sleep!

Martin - 10 Years!

10 years since high school, wow! Time has definitely gone by quickly. It was great to get together with everyone and catch up. All the planners did a great job and I thought the Stockyards was such a neat place to have the actual event. Here are some pics from the night, sorry they are out of order
