Wyatt's Sip n See

My mom, sister, mother n law, sister n law and Nicole hosted a sip n see for Wyatt. It was mainly for my mom/mother n law's friends and some Arlington people who have not been able to come up and see Wyatt. It was so nice, and everyone was so sweet for stopping by to peek at him......even though he slept the majority of the time! I even purposefully had him nap and eat right before, but of course he didn't follow my plan! Oh well, he still looked cute sleeping ;)

Is the question I'm always asked, regarding Wyatt. Kelly and I both had a ton of hair when we were born. Don't ask me what happened to mine! Cause I definitely don't have a ton of it now.....and it's not black. Here is me at a week old with Lane holding me. :



And even more interesting is a side by side of Kelly as a baby and Wyatt. I think he has a lot of her features (blue eyes, dimple in the same spot, hair). It will be interesting to see what/who he looks like as he gets older. Noah still changes to me all the time.

Baby/Kid dedication

We have had 5 babies born within out homegroup at church over the last 3 months, which increases our kid count to around 17 plus! One of the pastors at our church conducted a little baby dedication for all the kiddos in our group. I was pretty impressed he held the attention of that many kids....most of them being under the age of 5!
